Starting off with sweet notes of orange and earthy patchouli you quickly start to notice something else. Possibly a pinch of woody cedarwood or drops of sharp frankincense? Or are you overwhelmed with the spicy notes of clove buds, ground nutmeg or cinnamon stick stirring in there? The real question is if you are perceptive enough to see through this to catch the essence of sandalwood essential oils or sap like sweetness of balsam oils that make this toilsome soap something to behold.
